There’s no shortage of tennis-inspired clothing this season. So why not take what you already have in your wardrobe and restyle the look into an outfit that serves an ace. All you need is the iconic white skirt and some basic essentials to tune the look up or down depending on the occasion.
Now trust me, I don't own a proper tennis skirt, and now that I'm pregnant I don't think it's the time for me to be investing in new sportswear, but what I've always appreciated is the cleanliness of the tennis look, plus the simplicity of the overall feel. It's chic, understated and oh so premium. I tried out this recent "courtside" look for a Sunday brunch and then added heels for an evening of cocktails. It was so easy to dial up and give it an evening finish- just by changing the accessories. And it's a super cheap look to pull off.

Quality Is everything
Especially when styling secondhand white. So when choosing your skirt, make sure the fabric is of high quality and without any stains or discolouration.
Give It Some Contrast.
Pairing a black shirt with white essentials screams premium styling. The boldness and stark contrast of the pieces will leave heads turning, but keep an eye on the fabric, as always opt for quality and source fabric that will wear well.

Remember To Play Doubles
It's not all about the white skirt. Your accessories will be a perfect team mate for your styling match so have fun with your accessories. I wanted to keep everything neutral with the pieces I chose, as this continued to give it a sophisticated finish. But, you can play it with a funky finish- always be true to your own style. But regardless, everything was under £15 and just by adding a little variety I was able to switch up the look and take my outfit from court-side to cocktails very easily.
