How Does Swapping Work?

We pride ourselves on being a multi-cycle fashion resale platform for quality womenswear. Our ‘Swapping’ service allows buyers to trade garments they’ve purchased from us back to our store (we will cover postage costs!) and receive a guaranteed 50-70% of the original price paid in vouchers. Not only does this reduce textile waste, but it allows buyers to refresh their wardrobe sustainably. They can also choose to trade items that were not purchased through our platform in exchange for credit to use towards a future item from the SHSUK store.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept a range of credit / debit cards including Visa, MasterCard and American Express as well as PayPal and Apple Pay. If you have any problems with your order please contact us.

How are items priced?

We have a team dedicated to assessing the condition of the items and analysing the current resale market. We are happy to have your input if you have suggestions for retail or resale pricing. We will make price reductions at the 3-month and 6-month marks (if they haven’t sold).

Is there a list of specific brands that you accept?

There is no specific brand list. Instead, the focus is on quality clothing and great pieces! Please note that at the moment, we cannot accept garments from low-value fast-fashion brands, out-of-season or poor-condition items. To get the ball rolling you can create an account and upload images of any items that you would like to swap.

How do I get my items to SHSUK?

Once you have discussed your items with one of the team members, we will arrange a free postal or in-person collection. Please ensure everything is clean, with no stains or marks. We will contact you directly to advise if your clothes need cleaning or repair. This will be at your cost and may either be taken out of your pay-out or required to pay upfront. Currently, we have a minimum requirement of 10 items per seller before we can cover the postage/collection costs. However, exceptions can be made for certain high-value items, so please get in touch if you have any questions.

Can I Return Items?

We hope that you are delighted with your purchases; however, if for any reason you wish to return any item, you must do so within 14 days of receipt of your items. All returns will be refunded in store vouchers to the value spent in store. Please see our full returns policy here.

Are items cleaned?

All items are cleaned and reviewed for any repairs before being shipped out.
