An Intro To The Studio
With the aim of slowing down fast fashion and making sustainable secondhand fashion more stylish, we have opened our first swap, shop and style studio in Knutsford, located on Minshull Street, above children’s boutique Mini & Moi.
As a creative director, stylist and founder of Secondhand Styling UK and a recent contestant on Dragon’s Den, I'm committed to transforming the shopping habits of consumers, making secondhand more fashionable, desirable and accessible for all. The studio's opening allows us to continue to educate on the benefits of swapping clothes and shopping secondhand, highlighting how it can help reduce our carbon footprints and impact on the environment.
This pre-loved hub hosts a directory of secondhand treasures, curated carefully for you to swap, shop, and style in person. You can also view items from the site's collection.

How Does It Work?
After you have signed up and joined our Swapping Club, you are welcomed into a whole new world of swapping. Each month you can swap for free, up to three items. This exchange can be an online swap through our postal swapping or in person in our studio in Knutsford, Cheshire. Our exchange model is quality-controlled as we welcome high-end and high-street items that have been well cared for. Our expert team will be able to evaluate the condition of dresses, tops, and jackets and determine what tier the piece belongs to, offering you store credit for swapping and helping you start building your new-to-you wardrobe. Once you have swapped your pieces, you can use this credit towards swapping your pieces for new-to-you pre-loved items from our stock.

If you would prefer to shop secondhand, you can also browse our beautifully curated one-of-a-kind pre-loved rails, where you can shop your favourite pieces and try on any of our items from our online collection.
In addition to your swaps and shops, you have the opportunity to unlock your own secondhand style with our style system, whereby you can discover pre-loved items that would pair beautifully with your lifestyle and personality, making it easier to source the perfect secondhand treasure without having to overthink or look too hard for the type of piece that would be right for you.

Shopping Live.
Secondhand Styling offers unique shopping experiences right from the comfort of your home. Our ‘Live With Lucy’ Livestreams are broadcast every Monday and Thursday, but don’t worry if you miss it as they stay recorded on both our website and social media. All products can be shopped on our website. These lives allow you to ask Lucy questions about pieces and see how they both look on and move through the power of Livestream technology.
This also gives you the opportunity to join in with our Secondhand Styling community from around the country.
What Else Does The Studio Offer?
We offer personal styling sessions and bespoke private swap shop appointments for you and your friends, perfect for bachelorette parties, pre-holiday get-togethers, and Birthday Bashes. In addition to party hire, we also create pop-ups for businesses, making it easier to swap secondhand fashion in the comfort of your own office. More info can be found here.
