An Intro To The Studio
With the aim of slowing down fast fashion and making sustainable secondhand fashion more stylish, we have opened our first swap, shop and style studio in Knutsford; llocated on Minshull Street, above children’s boutique Mini & Moi.
As a creative director, stylist and founder of Secondhand Styling UK, and a recent contestant on Dragon’s Den, I'm committed to transforming the shopping habits of consumers, making secondhand more fashionable, desirable and accessible for all. The opening of the studio allows me to continue to educate on the benefits of swapping clothes and shopping secondhand, highlighting how it can help to reduce our carbon footprints and impact on the environment.
This pre-loved hub hosts a directory of secondhand treasures, curated carefully for you to swap, shop and style in person. You can also view items from the site's collection as well.
How Does It Work?
For £25 you can swap up to three items in one visit. Our exchange model is quality controlled as we welcome high-end and high-street items that have been well cared for. Our expert team will be able to evaluate the condition of dresses, tops, and jackets and determine what tier the piece belongs too, offering you swapping tokens to start building your new-to-you wardrobe. You can swap a “High St” for a “High St” piece or a “High End” for another “High End” or combine your tokens to reach a higher level tier.
What Does Each Tier Represent?
Tier 1 (1 Token)
This tier is the entry level and includes brands such as H & M, Warehouse, Topshop, Zara and River Island.
Tier 2 (2 Tokens)
This tier is a higher example of high street and would include brands such as Wallis, Karen Millen, Phase 8 and Never Fully dressed.
Tier 3 (3 Tokens)
This tier includes High end brands such as Cos, Coast, Mint Velvet, French Connection, Boden and Ted Baker
Tier 4 (4 Tokens)
This tier includes brands such as Club Monaco, All Saints and Madewell

If you would prefer to shop secondhand, you will also be able to browse our beautifully curated one-of-a-kind pre-loved rails, whereby you can shop your favourite pieces and try on any of our items from our online collection.
In addition to your swaps and shops, you have the opportunity to unlock your own secondhand style with our style system, whereby you can discover pre-loved items that would pair beautifully with your lifestyle and personality, making it easier to source the perfect secondhand treasure without having to overthink or look too hard for the type of piece that would be right for you.

What Else Does The Studio Offer?
As well as personal styling sessions we also offer bespoke private swap shop appointments for you and your friends which are perfect for bachelorette parties, pre-holiday get-togethers and Birthday Bashes. In addition to party hire we also create pop-ups for businesses, making it easier to swap secondhand fashion in the comfort of your own office. More info can be found here.
